Making pet Portraits
If you are looking for a pet portrait please send me an e-mail at jacobmesick@gmail.com and I will add you to my list of portraits needing to be painted. I work them in the order received, however there maybe times I may change the order while awaiting photo references from other clients.
Using the photos that you provide, I make a rough sketch and then a final digital picture of your pet. Usually my turn around time is about 8 hours to complete a digital painting. Once a painting has been approved I can have a painting to you in about a week depending on you location. You may see your pet being painted on Facebook live or Twitch as this is used to generate new traffic to my website.
Thank you for your interest in my pet portraits.

Kind Words from Previous Customers:
A beautiful parting gift – Ink
After having to say our last goodbye to Ink, our little chihuahau/shitzu/golden crested son, we were devastated. We went on a hunt through our many photos, in order to find something we could print in a 10×10″ format, to hang on the wall at home.
What we didn’t know, was that Jacob had been commissioned to make a beautiful portrait of Ink, and when we got it, we were blown away.
Jacob is incredible at capturing personality, his art brings to mind, the beautiful works of 17th century portrait painters and we’re so happy to finally be able to print something this beautiful. I cannot recommend him enough, nor can I thank him enough for the love and care he put into this.
Kenji and Kuma
I still can’t get over how wonderfully Jacob captured our shibas, Kenji and Kuma. The portrait is wonderful – so detailed and lifelike, and it shows their personalities perfectly! I can’t recommend him enough for his professionalism and skill.
Kenji and Kuma
I cannot recommend Jacob enough for his beautiful work of our two shibas, Kenji and Kuma. He captured their personalities so well, and the art is so full of life! Jacob was professional and a joy to work with.
